Deborah is qualified in various disciplines of yoga and has been practising and teaching yoga for more than fifteen years. In recent years, she has focused primarily on the Bikram Yoga Discipline.

Deborah chose the Bikram discipline primarily due to its ease of accessibility: from beginners to advanced, people of all ages and skill levels are able to partake. Another large appeal of Bikram is its incredible ability to expedite accelerated healing across many ailments; the entire system is focused on in every 90 minute class.

Bikram Yoga is comprised of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises and is practiced in a heated room. The ambient heat of the room allows the muscles to stretch more easily, preventing injury. The heat also opens the pores to rid the body of toxins through sweat, as well as thins the blood, which increases the heart rate to create a cardiovascular workout.

Once again, people of all ages and fitness levels can practice Bikram Yoga. Looking forward to seeing you!
